What it is:
Our tank is like a hug; the built in bra gives you just enough support but doesn't cut in anywhere so is perfect for sleep! Meanwhile our bloomers are made from super breathable organic cotton and designed so that they don't ride up.
Where it's made:
Our products are made in Istanbul, Turkey 🇹🇷. The organic cotton is knitted and dyed in Anatolia, in the North of Turkey, through a GOTS-certified supply chain. Because it is dyed by hand, expect some slight variations in color. It is then turned into tank tops and bloomers in our factory in Istanbul and then shipped to us in the UK, where we send it out to you! 🌞
What's it made of?
All of our products are made of the same 95% organic cotton knit jersey and 5% elastane. The cotton is grown in Southern Turkey, in Şanlıurfa. The cotton is then knit into a jersey fabric in an Eco Factory in Bursa, in Northwest Turkey. The reason we include elastane is that you need a bit of stretch in order for the bras and undies to mold properly to your body. Without the 5% elastane, we can't achieve the right support for our bras and tanks, and the thongs and bloomers have a diaper-esque aesthetic.
How should I wash everything?
I prefer to wash all my Buttercup stuff separately from the rest of my laundry, just so the colors stay nice and bright (especially the lace, a lot of which is quite light!) I always wash on cold, because that's better for the fabric.
That being said, cotton is pretty resilient. If you don't have the time (or interest!) to do your undies separately, just chuck them in with everything on your regular wash. However, they may fade/lose their color more quickly if you do this.

cutest pajamas you'll ever own that also double as a cute tank you can wear out? sign me up! i've given 4 stars as the straps are a bit long and fall off my shoulders which is a little bit of a nuisance. generally the top is very well made and incredibly comfortable to wear. cant wait to buy in other colors :)
I have the matching boxers, as well as this tank in other colors and more underwear from buttercup. Cannot recommend them enough!
I bought the Dill Pickle (pre-order) and the Cherry. I already reviewed the Cherry, but this is an update. I'm 5'1", 129 lbs, with a 34" bust. I first bought size S, but exchanged it for XS thanks to the amazing customer service. If you have a small bust like me, I recommend sizing down. It does stretch. It's essentially a tube top with straps, and I size down in tube tops b/c of my smaller bust. If you have a fuller chest, stay true to size. The straps do stretch out and I wishthey wouldn't since it falls off my shoulders.
