What it is:
The Emma bra is made of breathable organic cotton with a touch of stretch, perfect for throwing on in the morning and forgetting about. This silhouette provides complete support for boobs from sizes AA-DDD (aka E).
Where it's made:
Our products are made in Istanbul, Turkey 🇹🇷. The organic cotton is knitted and dyed in Anatolia, in the North of Turkey, through a GOTS-certified supply chain. Because it is dyed by hand, expect some slight variations in color. It is then turned into tank tops in our factory in Istanbul and then shipped to us in the UK, where we send it out to you! 🌞
What's it made of?
All of our products are made of the same 95% organic cotton knit jersey and 5% elastane. The cotton is grown in Southern Turkey, in Şanlıurfa. The cotton is then knit into a jersey fabric in an Eco Factory in Bursa, in Northwest Turkey. The reason we include elastane is that you need a bit of stretch in order for the bras and undies to mold properly to your body. Without the 5% elastane, we can't achieve the right support for our bras and tanks, and the thongs and bloomers have a diaper-esque aesthetic.
How should I wash everything?
I prefer to wash all my Buttercup stuff separately from the rest of my laundry, just so the colors stay nice and bright (especially the lace, a lot of which is quite light!) I always wash on cold, because that's better for the fabric.
That being said, cotton is pretty resilient. If you don't have the time (or interest!) to do your undies separately, just chuck them in with everything on your regular wash. However, they may fade/lose their color more quickly if you do this.

I think the cups aren’t well scaled with the band size which is why my boobs fall out in this bra. My boobs would have to be in my armpits to sit well in the cups unfortunately. Also there is a strange fault between the two colours I have purchased. There is a 1cm gap between the two cups on my bra in Pony, but no gap on my bra in Emma.
Anyway! I think the bras are so lovely but not for bigger cup girlies. The cups need to be moved more into the centre to hold the boobs!
this bra is IT. for the first time in my 32 years on earth i have found a bra that perfectly fits my small frame/big bust body type. this is legit the first ever bra i felt confident in and the gingham is cute2boot. in love. 14/10 would recommend.

TLDR: Very cute and flattering but your boobs will fall out if they’re bigger than the models.
I am a size 32DDD, and I originally purchased two bras in size D-DDD/S. They didn’t fit well and the boobs would just slip out, but I figured this was because I was on the end of the D-DDD range. Customer service was great! I exchanged for F-G/S. But I have the same issue with this size. I think the gap between the cups is not too realistic for girlies with a large cup size.
But under a shirt this bra looks so good, it is very flattering if you wear the straps crossed over(so cool) it gives a great lift. A shame it’s more catered to smaller bust sizes!
